KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) directed on Wednesday the federal government to fix the price of a Covid-19 vaccine imported by the private sector in a week. A two-member bench comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Amjad Ali Sahito disposed of an appeal moved by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) that challenged a single bench’s March 18 verdict. On March 18, the single bench had suspended the drug regulatory authority’s notification with regard to the withdrawal of exemption in Covid-19 vaccines import to a private pharma company. Along with several dozen adults, the young girl marched out of the brush and into the town of Kananga, some 700 kilometres (450 miles) east of Kinshasa, where they surrendered their weapons. There they laid down old rifles, machetes and good-luck charms at the governor’s feet following the surprising victory of Felix Tshisekedi who was elected president after December’s elections. Pakistan has been awarded third place in the highest potential adventure travel destinations for the 2020s list by the British Backpacker Society. The society which aims to promote and enable adventure travel in frontier tourism markets recently released a list of top adventure travel destinations for the coming year. The rankings are based on votes from its membership of adventure travel experts from around the world.
